Cost & coverage
Many families use benefits or funding to help with the cost.
Extended health benefits
Many plans reimburse occupational therapy. Your receipts are issued as "occupational therapy assessment and treatment services" so you can submit them to your insurer.
Disability & autism funding
Families may be able to put provincial disability funding toward the cost — in Alberta, that is the Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) program. Ask us and we will help you understand your options.

What happens at the free assessment?
It's a relaxed, no-cost session where we answer your questions, walk you through how RoadReady works, and figure out together whether it's the right fit. There's no obligation to continue — and if any paperwork or medical clearance is needed later, we sort it out with you.
Is it covered by insurance or funding?
It may be covered by extended health benefits (billed as occupational therapy). For eligible families, Alberta's Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) program may help — we will walk you through the options.

Will my teen definitely get their licence?
We can't promise a licence — every learner is different. What we can do is assess readiness honestly and build the skills and confidence needed, step by step.
